MOT Tests

The MOT tests some important items on your vehicle to check that they meet the legal standards. It isn’t the same as having your vehicle serviced and doesn’t check its general mechanical condition.

We are a local independent garage and we have been carrying out MOTs and repair work in Greenford since 1983. We can carry out MOTs while you wait, or you can pre-book a slot now and leave your car with us. Contact us to book your MOT.

While your car is with us for an MOT, why not have your engine carbon cleaned for a reduced rate too? This can save you upto 15% on fuel at the pump and makes your car kinder to the enviroment.

The MOT test does not cover the condition of:

• Engine

• Clutch

• Gearbox

When can you get an MOT?

You can get an MOT up to a month (minus a day) before it runs out and keep the same renewal date. An MOT lasts for a year and the date it runs out is printed on the last pass certificate. We will send you reminders when your MOT is due. Call us on 020 8578 2282 to book yours now.

Expired MOT?

You can’t drive your vehicle on the road if the MOT has run out. You can be prosecuted if caught, and fined up to £1,000 for driving a vehicle without a valid MOT.

The only exceptions are to drive it:

• To or from somewhere to be repaired

• To a pre-arranged MOT test
